Wifi + cable only works after network-manager restart

Bug Description

Wifi and cable only get activated after i sudo service network-manager restart, before wifi and cable are greyed out

Ubuntu 16.04 daily with all recent updates on 18/4/2016

I have the same issue, but I can also add that my wifi is being seen as a wired connexion. A service restart makes it work perfectly.

using kubuntu 16.04 , same issue . networkmanager needs to be restarted for wifi to work.
