Bug Description

Add a context via the command line scripts or via the QML api.
A context added signal is issued by ofono (per dbus-monitor --system "interface=org.ofono.ConnectionManager" and QML signal)
The list of connections in network manager does not change (per nmcli con)

Could you try this with NetworkManager running in debug mode? It would be useful to have all the logs from NetworkManager.

To do this, you can edit /etc/init/network-manager.conf; to add --log-level=debug to the Exec line.

The logs will be in /var/log/syslog.

Found context /ril_0/context7

Log is attached but while watching it I did not see anything related

This bug was fixed in the package network-manager - 0.9.8.8-0ubuntu22

---------------
network-manager (0.9.8.8-0ubuntu22) utopic; urgency=medium

  * debian/patches/add_ofono_support.patch: use the correct types for the
    ContextAdded and ContextRemoved signals so that we can call on the settings
    plugin to read and update available connections from oFono. (LP: #1341682)
  * debian/patches/provisioning_wait_ofono_properties.patch: refreshed.
  * debian/patches/ap_publish_last_seen.patch: last-seen should be an int in
    libnm-glib too.
  * debian/patches/scan_done_signal.patch: fix call to SignalDone in GLib
    bindings.
