Bug Description

I have a T-Mobile 1750 dongle.I have added a rule as per forums for this dongle. Made no different with or without. Mostly it works without problems. However, sometimes, I get a dialog box in which a password is requested. If I enter the password in the Connection Details or sudo password that fails. This line appears in the system logs:
get_secret.flags: 'assertion is_secret_prop(setting,secret_name error) failed'
Sometimes deleting the connection and starting with a new connection works. Sometimes removing the dongle and replacing works. Sometimes nothing works but then it starts working again. This is a recurrent problem from 2009 onwards.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.
