Bug Description

I am running 64bit Ubuntu 13.10.

I use a WPA2, EAP-PEAP, MSCHAPV2 wifi network occasionally. When I am within range of this network, at the Ubuntu log-in screen, I am prompted to enter the wifi password for the network. I must select 'Cancel' on the wifi password screen and then can type in my Ubuntu log-in password and proceed. Once I am logged into Ubuntu, I am not asked for the wifi password as it is saved. This only happens on the WPA2, EAP-PEAP, MSCHAPV2 network and never happens on my main network which is simply WPA2.

I would expect that Ubuntu would not prompt me for the wifi password. It seems Ubuntu should just wait until the user is logged in and retreive the saved wifi credentials.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1278621/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Confirmed on Ubuntu 16.4 LTS 64-bit.

Not sure how changing this would affect situations where it is necessary to connect to a network before a user can log in (such as during OS installations).
