I suspect this is related to the network-manager because apport says, ""Report a bug about “network-manager” ...", but this is ATM a shot in the dark :^(

Please also see bug #1159239. Additional testing shows that this occurs with both the 20130322 and 20130323 Lubuntu i386 images and also the Ubuntu 20130324 i386 image.

Additionally with Lubuntu images I get 3 to 4 minutes of pop-up messages saying "Connected", then "Disconnected" repetitively. With the Lubuntu images this happens both in the live session and post-install.

But somewhat oddly I have a fully updated Lubuntu Raring that was installed with this media, "Lubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" - Alpha i386 (20130127)", and it works perfectly.

This bug report needs a new title but I'm unsure what to call it :^(

The only thing I can think of is, "network-manager is a mess", but I realize that's inappropriate. I'm just lost when it comes to this ;^/
