Bug Description
When creating a vpnc-based VPN connection using the NetworkManager with hybrid authentification, this connection does not work. When trying to activate it, I encountered an error message in my syslog stating that the path to the CA file is not absolute or does not exist. This is my syslog entry (sorry only German locale here, but the message should be obvious):
Apr 16 10:28:28 wccnb01 NetworkManager[
When checking the configuration file in /etc/NetworkMan
CA-File=
Assuming that vpnc does not accept URLs as location for certificates, the syslog message is quite clear now. I manually edited this configuration file and removed 'file://' so that a simple, absolute path remains. After that, the VPN connection works smoothly.
So, I guess that there is a bug in network-
