NM 0.7 fails to export VPN configuration

While trying to workaround the issue described in:

I came across another bug.

NM 0.7 fails to export the configuration of a VPN connection when you left click on Network Manager,
VPN Connections -> Configure VPN... and then after selecting a VPN, -> Export -> Save,
it fails showing the following message:

"Cannot export VPN connection

The VPN connection 'vpn xxx' could not be exported to vpn xxx (pptp).conf.

Error: unknown error."
