Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn

lsb_release -d: Ubuntu 9.10

uname -a:
Linux optimus 2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 16 14:05:01 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

apt-cache policy network-manager-openvpn:
network-manager-openvpn:
  Installed: 0.8~a~git.20091008t123607.7c184a9-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.8~a~git.20091008t123607.7c184a9-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.8~a~git.20091008t123607.7c184a9-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://tw.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Expected results: I should be able to specifiy my log file by using the log setting in either my openvpn config file or /etc/default/openvpn's OPTARG

Actual results: NM always logs to syslog which makes isolating openvpn log info difficult

if I run openvpn from the command line (below) then it works as expected.
$ /usr/sbin/openvpn --config UltraVPN.ovpn --log openvpn-client.log
