Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn

I try to use network-manager's openvpn plugin to connect to my university's network. It all worked back in 8.04 but the new 8.10 beta release won't allow my configuration of certificates. Basically I have a user name and password, as well as a CA and a TLS certificate.

If I select "password" as authentication type, I cannot add the TLS certificate. This option was provided by clicking the "Advanced" button in 8.04.
If I select "password with certificates (tls)", I can enter everything I have, but NM additionally expects me to select a user certificate and a private key, which I don't have.
So neither option fits my needs. The best solution IMHO would be to enable the TLS tab in the "Advanced" window, even if "password" is selected. That's the way it was is 8.04.

I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 beta with:
network-manager-0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1
network-manager-openvpn-0.7~~svn20081015t024626-0ubuntu1
