Isn't clear how to set netmask in tap mode

Bug Description
In tap mode, there is no local ip and remote ip. There is a local ip and netmask. Setting the netmask in the Remote ip address actually works, but took me some time to figure out. ( see attached screenshot )
Maybe the overlay help can give a hint on how to do it.
