Bug Description

The network-manager-applt pop-up and asking for phasphrase while network is still working.

It might be that there was a very short disconnect, because of ath9k kernel driver problems, but I did not recognize it.

When it is like this, it is not a bug of nm-applet, instead it would be another ath9k bug , with short disconnects and self connecting.
