regression: requires typing in the WPA password, instead of using the one saved by the keyring

Since a couple of days, nm-applet suddenly requires me to confirm the WPA2 password of my home AP, in a situation when it previously succeeded at connecting to it in a transparent way, using the password saved by gnome-keyring.
