Bug Description

I've attached a picture and will be explaining what is wrong. This bug report won't make much sense without looking at it. Sorry I wasn't able to explain very well without the picture. In the picture the left menu is network-manager-applet in Lucid. Don't have a maverick cd to use but in maverick the menu was much the same as in lucid. The middle is the network-manager-editor. the right picture is the network-manager-applet menu in natty. Note the missing submenu. The ssid had to match for the wireless submenu to work.

Since upgrading from Maverick to Natty the following has happened:

Wired connections with identical prefixes are not showing up under a submenu. You can see this in the screenshot. Each wired connection has its own spot. Before all of the wired connections with the same prefix appeared in the applet menu under a submenu named "IP" in this case. This only seemed to occur when there was 3 or more connections with the same prefix. Otherwise they didn't become a submenu. This isn't really a big problem for me as all the connections are still listed which brings me to my next point.

Unlike the wired connections wireless connections seem to be completely broken now. None of my wireless connections are listed in the menu even when the ssid is in range and appearing in the list.

Every time I log in the wireless connects to "367" using the "Auto 367" connection. As you can see in the connection editor there is no "Auto 367". All of the "367 - " connections are set to manual connection, too. Prior to Natty this never happened. Wireless stayed disconnected until I told it what to connect to. This one may or may not need to be a separate bug report.
