Bug Description
I attempted to create a new mobile broadband connection to Optus Australia through my Samsung Z230 phone connected via USB to my Asus EEE PC running Karmic with the latest updates. A popup box appear saying there was a dbus error. I then tried to edit the connection that was partially created when this crashed happened. At the time the crash happened another tiny popup box appear saying I had insufficient privleges even though I had just entered my root password. Previously in bug 449243 I had been able to create a connection last week but then the connection had failed to connect to Optus. On another computer running Jaunty I can connect to Optus through this phone using Network Manager with no problems so there appears to be a regression in network manager or modem manager for mobile broadband connections.
