Hello Sarath,

You can use 'sudo wvdial' to connect your DSL by command line.
For this you need to configure(provide phone number/passwd) in
/etc/wvdial.conf
Once changing these values, just do 'sudo wvdial' it should connect. I do
the same, it works fine.
You can use this method by the time this BUG is fixed

regards,
Sunil

Hi both of you guys,

I'm right now avoiding the permission issue. How? i just deleted the conection and created it again "without" the available for all users tick. At least for my it works, although it doesn't seem to resolve dns so i typed em in conn settings... Hope it helps until it's solved.

Regards.

that works for the permission issues, in the other hand I've got my LG 3g modem LDU-800 to work just by reconnecting it so everything is good now.

I have the same bug, and I cannot delete the connection, as it complains of insufficient privileges. I notice it did start after I ticked "all users".
