right click behaviour not optimal for windows users

Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
I talked with a computer literate friend today who installed ubuntu for the first time. He is a professional computer seller and works with windows daily. He had trouble finding the available wireless networks via network-manager. Apparently in windows those will be displayed on right-click, so he tried that and various options but did not try the left click.
It would be nice if this would be easier to discover for people switching because my test user was assuming this functionality is not working. Some additions to the conenction editor stuff maybe.
