Bug Description
This one's easy to reproduce: just try to check the "System setting" box on any wireless network that's already created under the existing user. Note that, when you click OK, you are not asked for your password, and the System setting box is unchecked when you go back in to edit.
If you create a new connection and save it as a System setting, then it works fine.
Using Ubuntu 8.10, all the updates installed.

Hmmm... I'm trying to mark this bug as fixed for Karmic, as I can now properly set a system network in Alpha 1.
I'm also asking for this fix can be back-ported to the latest stable Ubuntu release.
