nm-applet does not save configuration

Bug Description

nm-applet 0.7.0 configuration is not being saved between boots when setting a static network address in intrepid. This is for a pc with two ethernet connections. Since there is no other easy method in intrepid to configure the network this would appear to be a problem for the average user.
Also the netmask when set to "255.255.255.0", subsequently shows the value "24", although ifconfig does show that the netmask has been set correctly.

I confirm this. The static IP configuration can be set, but is lost on restart. On restart, the DHCP option is on.
