Same crash here, the applet is started after login and wired network works, but I get a segfault when I tried to connect to my known wifi WPA network.

Seems fixed after latest update, I can now reconnect to my wifi network

i am quite sure that this is fixed in the latest intrepid packages. we dont try to "unload" crypto support each and every time anymore.
