nm-applet crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slist_append()

The applet crashed reproducible when connecting to a WLAN secured by WPA Enterprise after entering the credential information.

I am on intrepid with the following network-manager version:

we fixed this upstream by not deinitilizing nss while running.
