Bug Description
After upgrading from Gutsy to Hardy the wireless device appears as a Wired device in the Network Manager (Gnome). This now remains across reboots, hibernates etc. When a Wireless network is active the 'wlan0_rename' device is the one which is active.
Laptop is a Sony VGN-TX56GN which uses the iwl3945 wireless driver.
Incidentally an extra Wired ethernet device is also reported, although there is only one ethernet port on the device.
