Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-pptp

In case no interface is in roaming mode (e.g. all of them are given static ips), 'VPN Connections' won't even show up. This is absurd.

Hi there
do you still experience this issue with the current version of the application?, could you please try to reproduce this using the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron.

Thanks in advance

I am experiencing this same problem.

I installed network-manager-pptp and only see the VPN option when my interface is in roaming mode. If I give the interface a static IP address, or even set it to use DHCP in non-roaming mode, I don't see the VPN option at all.
