Bug Description

Same problem as described in bug #1085442 but for Ubuntu gnome applet (not KDE one). That bug was marked with high priority. See it for more details... Everything is same.

Ubuntu with gnome network manager applet (on Unity, not with KDE desktop) is not able to connect to WiFI WPA2 Enterprise TTLS/EAP-GTC network. There is missing option for this in settings dialog.

Patch which fixing this problem is already in upstream network-manager-applet git repository:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/network-manager-applet/commit/?id=2294732eb608fad0ad65e315e1495094c0c9f34c

And here is link to bug reported at upstream gnome bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=729671

According to upstream git repository above patch is in version 0.9.9.95 and above:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/network-manager-applet/log/?h=nma-0-9-10

This problem occur on LTS 12.04 release and because in new realases are versions before 0.9.9.95 all Ubuntu versions are affected. Backporting above patch from upstream git repository should be enough.

Changed in network-manager-applet:
importance: Unknown → Medium
status: Unknown → Fix Released

hey cyhpermox, I saw this go by - could you consider including + SRUing (and/or taking the new upstream into U)? :-)
