Bug Description

Hello,

I am using network-manager to connect to an openvpn vpn and for a couple of days now, network-manager does not keep or save the password for the vpn anymore. I have to input the password again and again every time I do connect to the vpn.

It used to work before, so this is probably a regression.

Currently installed network-manager packages

ii network-manager 0.9.8.8-0ubuntu7
ii network-manager-gnome 0.9.8.8-0ubuntu4.1
un network-manager-kde <keine>
un network-manager-openconnect <keine>
un network-manager-openconnect-gnome <keine>
ii network-manager-openvpn 0.9.8.2-1ubuntu4
ii network-manager-openvpn-gnome 0.9.8.2-1ubuntu4
ii network-manager-pptp 0.9.8.2-1ubuntu2
ii network-manager-pptp-gnome 0.9.8.2-1ubuntu2
ii network-manager-vpnc 0.9.8.6-1ubuntu2
ii network-manager-vpnc-gnome 0.9.8.6-1ubuntu2

This is an xubuntu 14.04 64 bits machine with all patches applied.
$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Release: 14.04

The attached screenshot shows the options dialog of network-manager for the openvpn passwd. I blacked out the username. The field for password never keeps the password if I save the openvpn settings dialog.

I am experiencing the same issue. This seems to be related to a recent
gnome-keyring upgrade.

As a workaround, downgrading gnome-keyring from
3.10.1-1ubuntu4.2 to 3.10.1-1ubuntu4:

sudo apt-get install gnome-keyring=3.10.1-1ubuntu4

solves the problem for me.
