Increase DNS buffer size and remove "ANY" DNS queries

Bug #1390979 reported by MatthiasP

Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
netqmail (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Sites using DNSSEC have a high probability of producing large DNS replies to "ANY" queries issued by this version of qmail. qmail cannot handle those and will fail to deliver mail to such sites.

As described here:

Please include the patch from to make qmail handle DNS replies > 512 byte and apply to remove the CNAME check which is no longer necessary nowadays.
