Bug Description

Sites using DNSSEC have a high probability of producing large DNS replies to "ANY" queries issued by this version of qmail. qmail cannot handle those and will fail to deliver mail to such sites.

As described here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qmail/+bug/1333558

Please include the patch from http://www.memoryhole.net/qmail/#oversize-dns to make qmail handle DNS replies > 512 byte and apply http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/qmail/users/138190 to remove the CNAME check which is no longer necessary nowadays.

The attachment "See http://www.memoryhole.net/qmail/#any-to-cname" seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.

In case this takes longer to resolve and you're affected by this: Here is how you can build the patched packages yourself.
