netbook-launcher crashes when using right-hand-panel

When using the right-hand panel, i.e. selecting the data partition after using Documents the netbook launcher crashes.
Sometimes, but not all the time, with the option of sending in a bug report lik this one, or the option of a quick recovery. Otherwise a reboot is needed.
