Bug Description

Binary package hint: netbook-launcher

Netbook Launcher, both 3d and 2d version, provides fancy animation when you select a menu entry.

When you are coming to or from files and system items the animation provided is a fading. When going to or from another menu it's a sliding from top.

After a while the variation of this effects moving around the menu entry it's quite annoying. We suggest to revert to a single animation for all the menu entries. I think this bug is just a papercut.

This bug only affect the 2D launcher as we don't have this sliding effect in the 3D one. (You can be mislead as the 2D launcher is launched when your hardware doesn't support 3D one on the 3D session).

Reassigning.

affects: netbook-launcher (Ubuntu) → netbook-launcher-efl (Ubuntu)

That's true Didier, I have a nVidia card on my laptop so with live tests I should fall always in 2D launcher.

I mislead it with 3D because if I log in selecting 3D launcher I have all favorites, if I log out and I log in again with 2D launcher I haven't any favorite, like described in #524744. That's why I supposed to be in the 3D launcher.
