Bug Description
port 465 is listed in /etc/services as "smtps", but has been formally assigned by iana to ssm [source specific multicast] for a long time. smtps is a protocol that was never formally defined [i'm not aware of any rfc which references it], and has been deprecated for well over 10 years, since it's assignment was revoked by iana.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Confirmed that IANA has updated 465/tcp to be:
urd 465 tcp URL Rendesvous Directory for SSM
Also confirmed that use of 465 for smtps is deprecated.
