The typo in this bug seems non-existent at this point as such I have remove the bitesize tag... However the authors e-mail continues to be non-working so perhaps a patch could be submitted upstream to remove the author e-mail.

I still have the "EXSAMPLES" bug. I'll fix that one. Also, should this bug be separated into two separate ones (one for typo, one for email)?

Ok. Looks like the "EXSAMPLES" bug is in a debian patch ('debian/patches/local-manpages.patch')... this is what it says:

"@@ -196,7 +196,7 @@ flag. Permanent entries are marked with
 and published entries have the
 .B P
 flag.
-.SH EXAMPLES
+.SH EXSAMPLES"

that's part of the patch (the whole patch is huge...). Maybe they were thinking of saying "SAMPLES" instead of "EXAMPLES"? I'm not going to do anything with this because I'm not sure which is right.

EXAMPLES is used in the route manpage (also part of net-tools), and SAMPLES is not used anywhere in the package.

Maybe the bad e-mail is not a bug, as it shows up in almost all the other packages, and may just be the "last known good e-mail". If so, does that warrant removing the e-mail?

Notably to resolve the invalid e-mail it should be deprecated unless someone really wants to search for the authors new e-mail confirm it as valid and add the new one.
