Bug Description

When trying to connect to an svn server over https: the result is always this error:
OPTIONS of '<url>': SSL handshake failed: SSL error: Key usage violation in certificate has been detected. (<url>)

Replacing /usr/lib/libneon-gnutls.so.27 with a symbolic link to a working version of libneon temorarily resolves this issue. Bearing in mind the prevalence of this bug when connecting to a variety of servers: it is more likely that the ssl validation in gnutls is broken than any real issue with the server.

Fix it please.
It's annoying that I've bought brand new Dell laptop with promises that "all gonna work out of the box" and has to tighten all the nuts & bolts before I'm able to get to my everyday work.
