Bug Description
After hitting F2 or click on filename to activate rename, the filename is highlighted, but no keyboard-keys will react for editing. This includes shift+keys, ctrl+keys and shft+ctrl+keys actions.
Placing the cursor or highlighting text is only possible by mouse, thus filename changes only by via mouse-rightclic
Uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing Nemo packages did result in exactly one-time I could normally navigate, select and type in the rename field in Nemo. After closing en re-opening the Nemo-windows it was back to no-filename-editing again.

Exactly the same problem but in Mint 19.3 cinnamon.
He accepts to rename one or 2 files with the keyboard and then lost it.
Try to un-install and re-install cinnamon and nemo and nothing change.
