Bug Description

Ever since I installed Lubuntu Next 17.10, Nemo does not highlight text in a filename that is being renamed.

if I move the mouse pointer to a part of the text, left-click-n-drag to the end of a section of text, and then ctrl-x, the "selected" text disappears, and when I then ctrl-v, it reappears (either in the same place, or in a different one, if I click somewhere else). If when I first select "rename", I immediately hit "spacebar", all text disappears except for the extension, just as expected, but in every case I am "flying blind", as nothing is ever highlighted.

In looking to see if anyone else had had the same problem (and hopefully solved it), I came across the following, in which "Arch Stanton asked Jul 26 '17 at 15:33" the same question, without any response there:
https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/381952/nemo-doesnt-highlight-selected-text-when-renaming
There is no info there as to OS version, or Nemo version...

I find no bug report, so am doing so now.
This happens in Icon View, and Compact View, but NOT List View, which a selection IS highlighted.
I will include a screenshot showing a file immediately following selecting "rename", with the preceding and succeeding files also shown, and for each of the three views.

I observe the same behavior with Nemo 3.6.5-1 amd64, Ubuntu 18.04, GNOME 3.28.1, theme Adwaita (default).
When I write this it makes me think to change the theme: bingo! the renaming selection is normal with Ambiance or Radiance.

I now have Lubuntu Next 18.04, and also have Nemo version 3.6.5-1, and still have the same issue.

While I do not have the theme Radiance to test, I do have Ambiance (not my default theme, which is Lubuntu Arc), but unlike "Dominique Meeùs (dominiquem) ", selecting this theme does not alter the behavior.
