Nemo freezes under the root account

Bug Description

Nemo totally hangs under the root account. Especially when I try to open a directory with many files.
Permanently frozen window until reboot or I have to kill the process.

When as a common user account nemo works always fine.

This issue is still present in latest nemo (3.6)?

Running 3.6.5, never freezes. Just a little lag in multi-files dirs. Thanks.
