Bug Description

During a Kernel Update dkms crashes with:
dkms.conf: Error! No 'BUILT_MODULE_NAME' directive specified for record #0.
Error! Bad conf file.
File:
does not represent a valid dkms.conf file.

I think this is because of the Problem that is mentioned in this Debian Bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=651973

dkms status reports the same Error message.

Aha, the broken package is ndiswrapper-dkms. After I removed this package dkms status showed me no Error message anymore.

Somewhat known issue, yes. Sorry for that inconvenience. I don't think I can get that fixed today, so we'll have to do this after the final freeze, unless someone else uploads a fixed package directly to Ubuntu.

It appears that we also miss some MAKE[0] line and that ndiswrapper writes wrong configuration files not recognized with kernel 3.0 or something like this.

I received the following patch for problems with ndiswrapper, if someone wants to build a new -1ubuntu1 version with this and upload it before final freeze, that's fine with me.
