Ndiswrapper - TP-Link TL-WN620G doesn't work

OS: Ubuntu 7.04; 7.10; 8.04;9.04

- Install driver (net5523.inf and athmwdl.inf) with ndiswrapper
- wlan works
- after rebooting the System wlan doesn't work anymore

The same problem appears with ndiswrapper 1.52 on Ubuntu 8.04

Could you try if it makes a difference when powering off and on instead of rebooting?

No success after powering of and on (with unplugged power adapter). The LED of the wlan dongle shows now no response.

Get it working after run:

modprobe -r ndiswrapper
modprobe ndiswrapper

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu development version (10.04), this would help us a lot. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 224809, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Also please note that this card might work with the standard Atheros driver (ath9k) so please try it first before using ndiswrapper.
