Firstly, sorry if the package is wrong. I think it is something ndiswrapper related.

Second, I'm using amd64 Gutsy which is up to date. I'll attach the information in /var/log/syslog.

I have a Broacom 4318, which (obviously) uses ndiswrapper.

Sorry I forgot to mention that when this happens, my wireless card stops working and the system monitor applet turns all white, and stops working as well. The computer will hang at the end of rebooting, forcing me to press ctrl+alt+del to finish the restart of the computer.

I'd like to confirm this bug.

My setup is similar: amd64, BCM4318, Gutsy, ndiswrapper and kernel 2.6.22-14-generic.

Basically, the network connection is suddenly lost and then some programs cannot be started (e.g. firefox, thunderbird). Any attempt to reboot or halt hangs while bringing down the network interfaces. In my case, even ctrl-alt-delete doesn't work and I have to hard-reboot it. This happened sometimes after two or three days of uptime, and sometimes after just 30 minutes.

Also, I compiled ndiswrapper from source and make install'ed, it now works perfectly.
