Allow "Show in groups" option in Nautilus

I would request the developers over at Canonical to add a patch to allow "Show in Groups" option for Nautilus file manager.
It becomes easier to find files in groups when there are thousands of files in a folder. This happens especially in Music folder or the downloads folder.
Dolphin file manager has this option . Please see the links below for the screenshots.

Windows file explorer also has the feature.

It would be great if you guys could implement something similar in 12.04.

@roignac: How is this bug a duplicate of #44563? That bug is for auto-arranging desktop icons.
 The linked bug for show in groups reported in bugzilla is 10 years old and i really dont think those guys will look at it.
I think this should be pushed as a request to the gnome devs again instead of marking it as duplicate

Sayantan, this contains links to upstream bug

'Group By' and autorarrangement.
This bug also is an ehnancement, so there is no point in creating
duplicates. A better solution would be finding someone interested in
implementing this.
