Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

/usr/share/icons/Human/16x16/devices/gnome-dev-media-sdmmc.png exists but the image is blank.

When I insert an SD card into my build in card reader (Acer5672 Aspire Laptop), I get a icon on the desktop for it, which is the correct SD icon. When I look in nautilus, no icon is displayed but the text is there and I can access the disk.

I am using feisty, although the problem occurred in Edgy as well. It is specific to the sidebar, as the icon appears on the desktop fine. Icon is in computer:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducable with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Gutsy Gibbon. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

I can confirm this bug with Gutsy on a Lenovo R61 which I believe has a Ricoh 5c843.

When using an SD card in the internal card reader I have an icon on the desktop but not in the Nautilus sidebar.

Screenshot attached.

Do you need anything else?

This appears to be a missing 16x16 icon: /usr/share/icons/Human/16x16/devices/gnome-dev-media-sdmmc.png . The file exists but the image is blank.

Changing the theme, eg to Clearlooks, fixes the problem.

I've resized the 22x22 svg version down to 16x16 if anyone is interested. Not sure how to turn it into a patch but could probably learn if necessary.

I used the scalable version to create a quick 16x16 icon and committed it to the human icon theme package today.

What is the privacy issue with the bug?

This is fixed in the icon theme, since this isn't really a Nautilus bug I'm closing it.
