Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:

1.) Open a nautilus window.
2) Click on a folder and then begin typing to search for directory by name
3.) Press Backspace to try to delete a character or two from the search box.

Expected behavior: The character is deleted, allowing you to back up and change the search word.

Actual behavior: Nautilus navigates back one directory, with the search box still active.

Ubuntu release: 11.10
nautilus package: 1:3.2.1-0ubuntu2
