writting folder name on nautilus to match search, backs one directory up when backspacing to delete letters

Bug Description

When writting a folder name to quick match the folder I want to find, the box with the name search appears on the bottom right corner, but when deleting the search, it won't delete the search. Instead it backs one folder up every backspace is pressed.
