This bug is intermittently reproducible.

Follow these steps:
- hard boot from power off state
- right click on desktop to create a new empty text file called test
- hit the delete key
- click on trash icon in launcher
- Empty Trash button will be greyed out

After the above steps, on some boots, the Empty Trash button will be functional. On other boots, it will not.

Changed in nautilus (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → New
