Copy dialog prevents new Nautilus windows to be opened with starter

When long running copy/move operations are in progress and ALL other "normal" Nautilus windows are closed, leaving only the one operation dialog open - the Ubuntu starter will not open any new "normal" Nautilus windows to work with when pressing the starter icon!

The one remaining dialog is counted as a regular Nautilus window which is brought to the front - that's all!
Because this dialog does not have a menu, it is impossible to get a new window to work with unless you use the shell!

Don't know whether this is Nautilus or Ubuntu starter's problem - but it is a problem nevertheless!
