Ctrl-V puts filename in search box instead of pasting

Bug Description
Ctrl-V in a Nautilus window inserts the copied file name in a search box instead of pasting the file.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a directory, copy any file.
2. Open any other directory.
3. Press Ctrl-V.
Expected results:
The file is pasted.
Actual results:
A search box in the bottom right is activated, and the copied file name is put into it.
