Bug Description
In a given folder, I have files "foo2" and "foo#2". If I use the Search function in Nautilus trying to find files with the "foo" string, the only result is "foo2".

you probably don't have beagle installed?
if you don't have beagle, gnome-search-tool is to blame, so changing the package.
