nautilus (Ubuntu)
Ubuntu Desktop Bugs

Bug Description

In a given folder, I have files "foo2" and "foo#2". If I use the Search function in Nautilus trying to find files with the "foo" string, the only result is "foo2".

you probably don't have beagle installed?
if you don't have beagle, gnome-search-tool is to blame, so changing the package.

the nautilus search feature is not from gnome-utils, it's from nautilus itself. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you use beagle?

Exactly, I don't have Beagle installed. I have Ubuntu 6.10.
