Trying to run nautilus as root. Created /root/.nautilus beforehand. No joy.

Removing deja-dup prevented the crash Now I get a bunch of

    (nautilus:2457): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to
underallocate NautilusPathBar's child GtkButton 0x8388b78. Allocation is
24x39, but minimum required size is 27x27.

type errors for a number of different buttons.

Am using netbook with external monitor, so maybe screen characteristics are
confusing.

ok, that was not a nautilus issue then and got resolved with that upload yesterday
