Bug Description

Reproducable.
Open Nautilus in a terminal with gksudo, the loading wheel spins too long, in this time user can't click on folders to open them in order to work.
Nautilus opened by user via terminal immediately loads, ready to work and without any messages.

Can't reproduce this in Oneiric at the moment because https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/804330 occurs when running 'gksudo nautilus' from the terminal.

Thanks Brendan. Odd, but I don't experience Bug #804330.
Running nautilus a second time again via gksudo only outputs those few lines. But still takes a long time until the wheel stops spinning.

comment from upstream:

"You shouldn't run nautilus as root. Whats probably happening here is that not
only is nautilus getting started, but also a session bus for root, and diverse
session services, etc etc." not a bug.

I don't think that the response is appropriate. We specifically have reasons to sometimes run certain GUI programs as root, such as Nautilus and gedit.
