After a ctrl-c ctrl-v on an ftpfs file nautilus closed itself and uses a lot of CPU now.

Same here, except for the excesive CPU usage.

This is a regression. The bug was not present in Maverick

This bug seems to be the same than 774096. As I commented there, the bug is in GVFSD-FTP, from gvfs-backends, because replacing it using the one from ubuntu 10.10, all works fine.
