Hey mom :)
I might have to look for duplicates as this may have been reported already, but I'm reassigning it to nautilus for the moment.
Here's how to reproduce :
- Right click on a folder, select "Open with" and select "other application"
- Choose some application, for this bug it's totem but for me it's usually Baobab
- Leave the "Remember this application for "folder" files" checked (it is by default)
- Click on "open"
- Now every time you click on some folder in the "Places" menu, it will open with that application.
To fix this, open a nautilus window and repeat the "Open with" procedure, choosing either "File manager" or "Open folder"
Nevertheless I consider this to be a valid bug, in my opinion it should even be considered for the Hundred Papercuts.
