Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

In Ubuntu 10.10 I can not connect to my Webdav-Server.

Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) DAV/2 SVN/1.5.1 PHP/5.2.6-1+lenny9 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at bowp.netaction.de Port 80

The only thing I see is an error message after a long time of waiting.

I do not get any error in Apache's error.log.

On the command line everything works fine:
$ sudo mount -t davfs http://bowp.netaction.de/ test/

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.

Yes of course it is the same in 11.04. Or did you do anything to fix it? I do not use Lauchpad any longer because it does not solve anything for me. Upstream nobody seems to be interested in bug on Launchpad.

I updated Apache to 2.2.16 and the client's Ubuntu to 11.10.

The error message is still the same.
It appears both if the password entered is wrong or correct.

sudo mount does still work.

Awkward since it works like a charm in Lucid. You upgrade and things go bad. Still battling! Why is this low importance??

Because Launchpad is low importance.

The bug is old and Ubuntu changed quite a lot since, there has also been no activity here nor similar reports. Closing since we believe the issue as described is deprecated but feel free to file a new report if you still have problems in recent Ubuntu versions.
